Main Street

The gallery that I work for is located on Main Street. This was taken a little after 5:00 PM. As you can see all of the shops have closed. During the day this street is bustling with all types of people, vehicles with loud music and activities. I am entertained by the daily "circus" that passes by the gallery. I have seen some characters! But as soon as the tourists are back on the cruise ships, the streets are quickly rolled up and the shutters closed, and as for me....I head to the hills, literally. Where I live is peaceful and quiet. A nice retreat from the craziness of "town".

I think this yacht looks like something that would belong to Batman, so I call it the Bat Yacht. I first saw it when I was on St. John and since then I see it everywhere. This picture was taken at Magen's Beach on St. Thomas.
