Boat Trip to St. John

A friend of Jennie's took her, Josh ( Jennie's 15yr. old son) & I out on his boat. What a great day that was. We saw a Sea Turtle! It was awesome. Of course lots of amazing yachts! We also went through an area of small islands where the pirates used to sail through. There was a rock called Cannonball Rock where the pirates had to unload their cannons before they could sail up to the island. You could see where the cannonballs had blown away the rock. How cool is that! To be where the actual Pirates of the Caribbean sailed! Sorry for the lack of pictures. I'm still getting the hang of this picture taking thing.

St. John

What a house! Maybe Kenny Chesney lives here.

Mountain Top

Jennie & I were going to the beach, but it was a cloudy day so we went to Mountain Top. What a wonderful view! There are shops and a restaurant/bar up there. We found a sale on flip flops so the day was not a loss!

Jennie says....Everything sounds better when it's followed by "....In the Caribbean. It's true, think about it: I have to go to work in the Caribbean, or I have to clean the house in the Caribbean. I Love my life In The Caribbean!

Main Street

The gallery that I work for is located on Main Street. This was taken a little after 5:00 PM. As you can see all of the shops have closed. During the day this street is bustling with all types of people, vehicles with loud music and activities. I am entertained by the daily "circus" that passes by the gallery. I have seen some characters! But as soon as the tourists are back on the cruise ships, the streets are quickly rolled up and the shutters closed, and as for me....I head to the hills, literally. Where I live is peaceful and quiet. A nice retreat from the craziness of "town".
